I graduated with top marks from the University of Bologna’s Faculty of Education with a thesis in psychoanalysis on the subject of “Daydreams”. I then left psychology for various reasons to devote myself to journalism (Asti Prize 2001, jointly with Enzo Biagi; St. Vincent Prize for International Journalism in 2007). As I gradually moved away from journalism, I returned to psychology, completing a specialist doctorate at the University of Bochum in 2012 with a thesis entitled: “Die Ätiologie der Neurose und ihre Verbindung zum familiären Umfeld”. In 2019/20, I completed a two-year specialisation diploma at the Klett-Akademie in Hamburg, where I explored the fields of depth psychology and hypnosis. I have attended and led numerous seminars in Berlin and Frankfurt. In 2009, the President of the Italian Republic, Giorgio Napolitano, awarded me the title of Grand Officer of the Republic. From 2014/15, I worked independently as a coach and therapist in Frankfurt am Main, as part of a team of doctors and psychologists. Since 2021, I have been living as an author, dividing my time between Frankfurt, Bologna and Tunis.
